Professional Training: "I am very lucky to have a mother who owns a dance studio. I started tap dancing when I was two years old and never stopped. I also attended an incredible high school, North East School of the Arts (San Antonio, Texas). Together, the two afforded me so many wonderful opportunities and invaluable connections. I moved to Los Angeles when I was 17, and my preparation met opportunity at the audition for Footloose."

How I Got My Equity Card: "I basically crashed the invited call of Footloose. They were having auditions in L.A., so I just showed up. I was lucky enough to be seen. The next week I found out I had an offer for the first national tour and I joined the union immediately."
